NIBSS Instant Payment (NIP) is a Deferred Net Settlement (DNS) system where Funds are available online real-time in the beneficiary account before settlement.
(a) All transactions that pass through the NIP will be settled at a cut over time of 2am and 2pm daily.
(b) All transactions from 2:00pm of the previous day to 1:59am of the settlement day will be settled at 2:00am cut off time while transactions from 2:00am to 1:59pm of the present day will be settled at 2:00pm cut off time
